I just love the truth in this article about hiring the right Sales Director. Having lived with so many start-ups at SOON_ now, it's incredible how true this is. And yes, #2 is rare as rocking horse sh*t !
I also like that it gives a lot of respect to sales people who traditionally are undervalued in organisations - either seen as different or separated from other staff in start-ups. They aren't. They're as critical as anyone in the business.
